A passionate fashion designer dedicated to creating beautiful, sustainable designs that make a positive impact on our world.
Hi, I'm Michelle Patzi Figueroa, a fashion designer from Hamburg with a passion for creating beautiful, sustainable fashion that doesn't compromise on style or environmental responsibility.
My journey began at HAW-Hamburg, where I pursued my Bachelor's degree in Design with a focus on sustainable practices. This education culminated in my thesis collection "Reclaimed" - a groundbreaking collaboration with Uniqlo that transforms damaged, unsellable garments into unique fashion pieces, using imperfections as design catalysts rather than hiding them.
Today, I lead the ReUniqlo program at Hamburg's flagship Uniqlo store, where I transform discarded garments into contemporary fashion pieces. This role allows me to combine my creative skills with my commitment to reducing textile waste and promoting sustainable consumption.
